Fueled by a love and curiosity of people, Heather received her undergrad in Psychology from James Madison University in southern Virginia. Deciding to forgo grad school at the time, Heather stepped into college ministry and spent a year in France caring for university students. After moving to a new home base in Florida, Heather continued traveling to other countries to work mainly with college students and adults in a more short term capacity. During her down time in the states, Heather sought counseling and began to experience her first taste of a more healthy life. After 6 years, Heather stepped out of ministry to earn her Masters in Counseling at Reformed Theological Seminary. Heather enjoys working with a variety of religious and non religious backgrounds, and has worked with with depression, grief/loss, anxiety, trauma, abuse, cultural adjustment, relationship issues, and identity formation.
